AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF AVIAN PATHOLOGISTS and the AAAP FOUNDATION

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

The Executive Vice President position has a renewable term of five years. The AAAP membership must vote to reaffirm the Executive V. P. Each year. This position includes an honorarium.

Interested applicants please submit the following by December 15, 2014.

  1. A two to three page letter of intent demonstrating the applicant's vision and future direction for AAAP.
  2. Two letters of recommendation by AAAP members in good standing.
  3. A curriculum vitae

Selected candidates will be interviewed at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on January 27, 2015. Candidates should be prepared to give a 10 to 15 minute presentation describing his/her understanding of AAAP's history, present activities and accomplishments and vision for the future of AAAP.

Qualified candidates will:

  • Be a full member of the AAAP and a member of the AVMA.
  • Have a passion and vision for the AAAP.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with the AAAP business office on the oversight of the AAAP.
  • Have a working knowledge of AAAP affiliated organizations including the AVMA, WVPA, CAST, USAHA, NIAA, PAACO and others.
  • Have leadership experience.
  • Have financial oversight experience.
