 Mission Statement


To keep the AAAP board and membership informed about tumor virus problems in poultry and recommend actions to ameliorate the problems and therefore improve the productivity of poultry.



Objectives

  1. To collect and exchange information on tumor virus disease problems affecting the poultry industry.
  2. To exchange recent information on tumor virus research and significant tumor virus diseases among committee members and the AAAP membership.
  3. To review, and report to the AAAP Board new information on the incidence, diagnosis, pathogenesis, epidemiology, and economic impact of tumor virus diseases.
  4. To advise the AAAP Board on appropriate actions to reduce the severity of tumor virus diseases.
  5. To plan and carry out educational programs for the AAAP membership.
