Membership
Mission Statement To increase membership in the American Association of Avian Pathologists.
Objectives To increase the number of AAAP veterinarian members who are also AVMA members. To encourage the associate membership of non-veterinarians with an interest in poultry. To encourage the student membership of veterinary and graduate students with an interest in poultry. To encourage the membership of international veterinarians and non-veterinarians with an interest in poultry.
Operating Guidelines Committee membership is made up of individuals who are members of AAAP and interested in actively serving on the Membership Committee.
The committee is chaired by an individual appointed every three years by the President of the AAAP.
Meetings The committee meets once every year in conjunction with the AAAP annual meeting. Communication on membership issues at other times of the year may be done via teleconferencing, electronic mail, or U.S. mail.
