Mission Statement
The mission of the AAAP Preceptorship Committee is to solicit and review applications, and to provide financial support for veterinary students in North American universities, to enable them to gain insight, interest and practical experience in the various aspects of poultry medicine by participating in training programs at approved sites. The purpose of the program is to encourage promising new graduates to pursue a career in poultry medicine. It is the responsibility of the committee to continually upgrade the criteria for selection of the most worthy students.
