This is a call for Titles and Abstracts for the North Central Avian Disease Conference (NCADC). This year’s NCADC will be held on April 07-08, 2025, in Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, in conjunction with PEAK 2025.

This year’s conference theme is “Disease Epidemics: Role of Diagnostics, Vaccination, and Biosecurity” where the focus will be on diagnostics, different vaccination approaches, and variable biosecurity techniques to combat diseases outbreaks.

We are looking forward to having in depth panel discussions related to topics affecting poultry industry including but not limited to Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) and its complications involving mammals, Avian Metapneumovirus (AMPV), vaccination and its limitation as well as Salmonella and new regulatory standards.

We invite poultry researchers and poultry veterinarians in academia, federal/state laboratories, as well as industry to participate and share their findings in NCADC 2025, the major poultry conference in the Midwest where many turkey and layer industries are located.

The 76th North Central Avian Disease Conference will be held immediately before the PEAK in lovely downtown Minneapolis, MN. There is good access by air and road. This is a premier gathering for poultry veterinarians, researcher and affiliated professionals in poultry production.

Submissions

All are encouraged to submit Titles and Abstracts for 2025 NCADC program. Topics including but not limited to poultry health/disease research studies, case reports, diagnostics, enhancement of biosecurity or any updates regarding specific poultry diseases.

Deadline for submission of title and abstract submission is February 28, 2025. A disposition regarding your submitted abstract(s) will be communicated by March 7, 2025.

Oral presentation is limited to 15 minutes. Awards will be given for the Best Student Presentation and the Best Case Report.

Please follow the following submission instructions for titles and abstracts:

· Titles and abstracts should be submitted in a word file formatted with Times New Roman font at a size of 12-point single spacing document. Margins, in all directions, must be an inch.

· The title can be 150 characters maximum. Spaces are not included in the title character count.

· List of authors affiliations including presenting author’s Phone/Fax/Email and address.

· Abstract should include introduction, procedures, results and conclusions.

· Title and abstract may not exceed 1 page per submission.

· If more than one abstract is submitted, please use one file per title and designate the order of preference.
