Y.M. Saif Award for Best Case Report in Avian Diseases
Introduction:
Avian Diseases is the official journal of the AAAP. Since its start in 1957, our journal has been recognized and appreciated for a mix of scientific research papers and clinical case reports. In an effort to recognize and encourage the importance and value of Case Reports, the “Y.M. Saif Award for Best Case Report in Avian Diseases” was created starting with Volume 67 (2023). This award has been made possible by the generous contribution of Dr. Mo Saif, and awards the winner with $1000, presented at the annual AAAP Awards Banquet.
Qualification Criteria:
Eligible case reports in the appropriate volume of Avian Diseases are considered. The winning case report will be determined by the Case Report subcommittee of the Editorial and Advisory Boards of Avian Diseases. The senior author of the winning report receives the award.
The winner will be recognized during the awards banquet and receive a plaque of distinction following the meeting.
