The AAAP Foundation, founded in 1988, is the charitable arm of the AAAP. It is dedicated to the encouragement and development of talented individuals who are interested in careers in poultry health and/or food safety. This is accomplished through three pillars: scholarships, grants, and awards. Scholarships provide funding for students to support education and educational experiences, grants support opportunities to attend AAAP Meetings and help students gain experience through externships, and awards recognize excellence, service and research in the industry.

The AAAP Foundation Guild Program recognizes members who make valuable contributions to the Scholarship, Award, and Preceptorship Funds.
The AAAP Foundation was founded in 1988 and is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
Through the AAAP Foundation and its partners, 40+ scholarships are offered each year. Scholarship award amounts range from $500 to $5,000.
The AAAP Foundation supports those pursuing a career in poultry medicine and recognizes excellence and achievement in the field of poultry medicine through member awards.
